Tesla’s Chairwoman, Robyn Denholm, has sold $17.3 million worth of shares in the company, bringing her total sales in 2024 to over $50 million. Denholm, who joined Tesla’s board in 2014 and became chair in 2018, sold the shares as part of a program put into place in October. She still retains the majority of her shares. This news follows the resignations of other stakeholders and comes as Tesla faces increased competition, weakened demand, and lower deliveries. CEO Elon Musk has emphasized the company’s self-driving future. Denholm is also a defendant in a shareholder lawsuit.
